About

Ryn is a thoughtful, independent little kitten who prefers to take in the world before deciding how she feels about it. Found outdoors in Commerce City with her siblings, she missed out on early socialization with people and has spent the last several weeks learning that humans can be pretty wonderful. She loves being pet and enjoys attention, though she's not quite convinced that being held is necessary. While she'll tolerate handling, she's happiest when she can approach affection on her own terms. As her confidence has grown, so has her curiosity, and she's become a playful, happy kitten who enjoys spending time with her siblings and exploring her surroundings. Ryn will do best with adopters who understand that trust is something earned, not rushed. She may be shy when she first arrives home and will need a smaller space to settle in while she adjusts. Given time and patience, she has all the tools to continue building confidence and forming strong bonds with her people. She would especially enjoy being adopted with one of her siblings so she can continue to have a familiar friend by her side. This kitten was rescued after being born in an industrial area of Commerce City, CO.
