Pepper is a sweet 4-month-old kitten looking for her forever home! Her mama Shadow is a lovely 2-year-old cat who is ready to go with Pepper and continue their deep bond in the perfect place. A beautiful little panther, Pepper has the perfect balance of playfulness and cuddliness. This little adventurer loves playing with toys, snuggling with Shadow on the bed, and exploring the house. Pepper has typical kitten energy and playfulness, but doesn't get into mischief which is nice. :) Shadow, another sleek panther, is very affectionate. She rubs against her foster people’s legs and is always up for having her shiny fur brushed. She also loves to find the perfect sunny spot on a bed and roll around. Most of all, Shadow is a wonderful mother and is always happy to spend time with her beloved baby, Pepper. She is missing a few teeth, and is scheduled for a dental exam and cleaning in late July. Her forever people will have to be committed to helping both of these pretty panthers stay on top of all appointments to keep them living their best lives. They both currently live in a house with two adults, three kids (ages 6-16), two other foster cats, and two resident dogs. Pepper is basically okay with the dogs (she just avoids them) but mama Shadow is not a fan, so a dog-free forever home is a must. These cutie pies are easygoing and pretty adaptable, as long as they can be together. They would both thrive in a home with affectionate humans who are around frequently, and where there are plenty of warm sunny spots for relaxing. Although they both really enjoy being around people, they aren't super-snuggly with humans; however, they are definitely snuggly with each other! Their perfect nap setup is sleeping at the foot of your bed, curled up together. Pepper and Shadow are truly bonded and will need to be adopted as a pair. They are a sweet, loving duo, ready to bring good luck and good cheer to their forever home. There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimates. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
