Meet Tally, a sweet little calico van with golden eyes, soft white fur, and colorful splashes on her head and tail. With her tiny paws and petite frame, she has a forever-kitten look that makes her impossible not to adore. Tally is a gentle, thoughtful girl who likes to take her time getting to know new people and places. At first, she may watch from a safe distance, quietly sizing everything up. But once she's seen your face and decided you're a friend, it's as if she's known you forever. One meeting is all it takes for Tally to remember you, and the next time she sees you, you'll be greeted by a completely different cat. This charming girl has some wonderfully unique ways of showing her happiness. One of her favorite games is hide-and-seek, and when you finally discover her hiding spot, she'll celebrate with adorable little rabbit hops and happy tap dances. It's impossible not to smile when she shows off her excitement. Tally is also a devoted fan of high places. Whether she's perched on a cat tree, lounging on a bookshelf, or stretched out in a loft, she loves being up above the world. Her favorite activity is finding the highest spot in the room and settling in to watch the world go by through a nearby window. If she can combine both of those things, she's in heaven. While she enjoys her independence and appreciates having quiet time to herself, Tally is also an affectionate companion once she's comfortable. She enjoys being petted, doesn't mind being picked up and carried around, and will happily seek out attention when she's feeling confident. One of her favorite ways to settle into a space is by rubbing her face on everything within reach, carefully claiming her surroundings as her own. Tally has a calm, low-key personality and prefers lounging over rough-and-tumble play, though she still enjoys the occasional wand toy session. She's smart, gentle, well-mannered, and tends to save most of her activity for the evening hours. Unlike some cats, she's quite quiet and rarely feels the need to meow, making her an easygoing companion who brings a peaceful presence to the home. At mealtime, Tally enjoys having company while she settles into a new environment, though once she feels secure, she becomes much more confident about eating on her own. She has excellent litter box habits and uses scratching posts and pads appropriately. Tally has lived successfully with other cats and seems to genuinely enjoy feline companionship. Having another cat around appears to boost her confidence, but she is independent enough that she could also thrive as the only pet in a home where she receives patience and affection. She would likely do well with respectful children and in a variety of household environments.
