Meet Elsa! Much like her Disney princess namesake, Elsa the dog considers herself royalty and is in search of her next fairytale! Elsa's been through a lot of transitions ands changes the past several months of her life, and is looking for a home that can give her a stable and predictable place to settle in. While Elsa is sweet and silly with her friends, she can struggle with meeting new people. She barks to show her discomfort when she is not ready to greet someone. Elsa has been able to make friends here at the shelter, and is a happy, wiggly girl with te people she knows! She also loves romping around the yard with toys and getting silly during play. Because Elsa's a sensitive soul, she's looking for a home that is able to support her needs and move at her pace. With patience and understanding, Elsa will come out of her shell and show her silly side to adopters just as she has done with her shelter friends. Elsa's still a young adolescent lady learning about the world, so adopters should be prepared to do a basic training refresher as well. It is reported that Elsa lived successfully with older kids and small dogs in a previous home, but we don't have much information on what that looked like.
