Meet Cider, a lovable orange tabby with classic marbled swirls, bright yellow eyes, and fur so soft you'll find yourself reaching out to pet him every time he walks by. Cider is the definition of an orange cat. He approaches life with endless optimism, a healthy appreciation for snacks, and absolutely no understanding of personal space. Affectionate, confident, and incredibly people-oriented, Cider wants to be wherever his humans are. If there's room on your lap, he'll happily climb aboard. If your lap is already occupied, he'll simply find another way to get closer, often by perching on your shoulders or rolling around nearby until he gets the attention he's hoping for. This sweet boy loves showing affection. He hands out slow blinks, gentle licks, purrs, biscuits, and the occasional hug, and he's never shy about asking for pets with a soft meow. Whether he's meeting new people, exploring a new space, or relaxing at home, Cider takes everything in stride and seems genuinely happy just to be part of whatever is happening around him. While he prefers lounging and spending time with his people, Cider still enjoys playtime, especially with interactive ball toys that move and roll on their own. When it's time to relax, you'll often find him stretched out in a sunny spot, curled up in a cat tree by a window, or snoozing wherever the people are. Cider is also very food motivated and may try to sample snacks that don't belong to him if given the chance. His purr motor is always ready to go, and his enthusiasm for both food and affection makes him a delight to have around. This easygoing boy has excellent litter box habits, uses scratching posts appropriately, and allows nail trims without fuss. He is extremely friendly with other cats and would love a feline companion who can match his social nature and enthusiasm for friendship.
