(as of 5/19/26) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Peapie is a sweet petite young lady who loves to socialize! Peapie seems to be a Chihuaua/Terrier/Pomeranian mix. She comes to SOS from a foster home where she lived with adults, kids, other pups and cats and has gotten along with everyone so far. She loves to wrestle with her doggie friends, enjoys some bitey mouth play with them and can be a little overbearing in her enthusiasm at times. She has responded well to correction. She loves playgroup, toys and playing fetch. She also enjoys meeting other new pups. Peapie has had no accidents while working on her housetraining and is happy to be in her crate when needed. She also rides very well in a car in her crate. Peapie enjoys being with her humans and after a good play session likes to curl up in a lap for a cuddle and at 11 lbs is just the right size! She is described as eager to please, playful, affectionate, resilient, carefree and a perfect houseguest. Her previous foster home loved her personality, looks and temperament. As a young dog, she will benefit from training and will need to learn how to walk on a leash and some obedience skills. We don't know much about Peapie's background but we do know that she is incredibly joyful, fun, an absolute joy and ready to share all of that with her new family. Peapie sounds like she will be an awesome addition to any family and she is ready to meet them and go to her furever home. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.
