About

ZAP! is a bright‑eyed little explorer with a confident spirit that shines the moment you meet her. At just 3 months old, she has already established herself as the most independent kitten of her litter. While her siblings tumble around in a whirlwind of play, ZAP! is the one quietly slipping away to investigate a new corner, observe from a high perch, or follow an interesting sound only she seems to notice. She’s the kind of kitten who doesn’t just play—she studies, she thinks, and she chooses her own adventures with purpose. Even though she enjoys her solo missions, ZAP! isn’t aloof. She simply likes to take her time with new people. Once she feels safe and familiar with you, she reveals her softer side: gentle purrs, warm snuggles, and the sweetest little nuzzles. She bonds deeply and quietly, offering affection in a way that feels thoughtful and sincere. ZAP! spent her early life in a foster home with both cats and dogs, and she handled the busy environment beautifully. She’s respectful of other animals, confident enough to coexist with them, and adaptable to the rhythms of a multi‑pet household. Her calm independence makes her a wonderful match for a variety of homes—whether you already have pets or you’re looking for a single kitten with a strong sense of self. ZAP! would thrive with adopters who appreciate a kitten that’s curious, clever, and comfortable exploring at her own pace. She’s the perfect blend of adventurous spirit and quiet affection, ready to grow into a loyal companion who brings a little spark of wonder to every day. ZAP!'s adoption fee is $75, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1 Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! We welcome adopters from out of state to apply! _ When it comes to our pets, we're all-inclusive!
