Gus is a 2-year-old, friendly sweetheart looking for his forever home! This handsome boy loves people and enjoys being part of the action. Whether you're working on a puzzle, helping with homework, or relaxing on the couch, Gus will happily stop by to see what you're doing. He loves attention, enjoys being petted, and is always ready for playtime. Gus has a playful, energetic side and spends his days exploring, chasing yarn, batting around paper balls, and pouncing on his favorite crocheted toys. He especially enjoys finding a high perch where he can watch the world outside before stretching out for a sunny afternoon nap. Mealtime is one of Gus's favorite parts of the day. He gets so excited that he may stand on his hind legs to reach his food bowl faster, and he'll happily chat with you when dinner is on the way. Because he loves food so much, he may benefit from a slow feeder to help pace his enthusiastic eating habits. Gus is an affectionate cat who enjoys sitting near his people and often seeks out pets and attention. He can be quite cuddly and enjoys lap time on his terms. Gus doesn’t mind being picked up and held. Most of the time he starts purring and enjoys it, unless he has more important things to do at that time. He currently lives alongside other cats and enjoys having feline companions nearby. Gus is looking for a forever home that has another friendly feline. Gus's ideal home is with patient adults who will give him time to adjust to a new environment and allow his personality to shine. In return, they'll gain a loyal, entertaining, and affectionate companion who brings plenty of fun and charm to every day. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
