Whether she's following her favorite person around the house, joining in on family activities, or relaxing after a day of fun, Miranda simply loves being part of the action. At just 5 months old, Miranda is still very much a puppy and is learning about the world around her every day. She is eager to bond with her future family and is at the perfect age to continue learning, socializing, and developing into a well-rounded adult dog. As an Australian Shepherd , Miranda is expected to be intelligent, loyal, and eager to learn. Australian Shepherds are known for their strong bonds with their families, trainability, and desire to stay mentally and physically engaged. Miranda will thrive with a family that can provide structure, guidance, exercise, and opportunities to use her bright mind. Miranda would thrive in a home prepared for: Ongoing puppy training and supervision Daily exercise and mental enrichment Positive socialization experiences Structure, consistency, and routine Plenty of companionship and interaction A lifelong commitment to her emotional and physical well-being Because Australian Shepherds are an active and intelligent breed, Miranda will benefit from continued training and activities that keep both her mind and body engaged. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue puppies come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or formal training before arriving at rescue. Puppies require patience, consistency, and guidance as they learn how to navigate life in a home environment. Adopters should expect normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, teething, accidents, learning household routines, and testing boundaries. These are all normal parts of puppy development. Miranda will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Patience, consistency, and supervision Mental and physical enrichment Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule : 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn routine 3 months to feel fully at home With patience, training, and love, Miranda will grow into a loyal and devoted companion. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a puppy is a lifelong commitment that includes training, exercise, veterinary care, and emotional responsibility. Miranda will need: Routine veterinary care and completion of her puppy vaccine series Preventative care including flea, tick, and parasite prevention Proper nutrition to support healthy growth Daily exercise and mental enrichment Ongoing training and socialization A safe, stable indoor living environment Because Miranda is still growing, her family should be prepared to continue helping her develop confidence, good manners, and positive habits as she matures. Miranda is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside.
