Meet Nelson- an adorable chihuahua mix dog from Cherokee that is about 3.5 years old and weighs just under 10 pounds. He is friendly with other dogs that aren't too forward with him and he has been sweet with people. He seems to be house trained and he walks well on leash. Nelson is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and started on monthly flea/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $300 and you can apply to adopt at mpravl.org. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
