About

Baby is with our partner rescue in LA and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter. Meet Baby — the tiny tornado with a heart of gold! At just 12 weeks old, this cattle dog mix is equal parts mischief, brains, and snuggles. Baby is still growing into those adorable paws, but one thing is already clear: this boy is going to be a loyal, loving sidekick for the right family. Like any puppy, Baby is a work in progress. He’s learning the ropes with crate training, house manners, and figuring out that chew toys are much more fun than, well… everything else. He’s playful, curious, and always ready for his next adventure. True to his cattle dog roots, Baby is smart and energetic, which means he’ll thrive with a family committed to training, structure, and plenty of socialization. He’s still working on reading the room with other dogs and can get a little overenthusiastic during playtime, so he benefits from guidance and supervision to help him be his best self. Potential adopters should also know that herding breeds can be a bit “mouthy,” especially as puppies, so homes with very young children should be prepared to help guide him through that phase. But here’s the best part: once the zoomies are out, Baby turns into a total cuddle bug. He loves to snuggle up close and soak in all the affection. He’s sweet, loyal, and already forming deep bonds with his people. Baby isn’t just looking for a home—he’s looking for his person. Someone who will laugh at his puppy antics, guide him as he grows, and love him for the incredible dog he’s becoming. We know his perfect family is out there… could it be you? He is fixed, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines. His adoption donation is $500. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
