Meet Cleo! Cleo is a spirited, super sweet pup who is ready to find her forever family. At just 30 pounds which is just the perfect size, she is a vibrant, playful pup who absolutely loves other dogs and is incredibly friendly with every person she meets. While she might take just a little bit of time to warm up to new situations, she settles in quickly, and she already walks nicely when wearing a harness! Because Cleo is a clever girl in her peak adolescent phase, she is in that classic teenage stage and is absolutely brimming with potential. She is full of fun, youthful energy and big intelligence, meaning she loves having plenty of mental and physical activities to keep her busy. She especially loves to play fetch and chase balls, which is a fantastic way to burn off some of that puppy energy! The wonderful news is that she is highly food-motivated and very eager to please, making her an absolute joy to train. Cleo is looking for an experienced dog owner who understands the teenage dog phase and is ready to guide her with consistency and patience. She is currently working hard on her house training and house manners, and she needs a dedicated adopter who is excited to help her learn and navigate this fun, active stage of life. Like many smart young dogs, Cleo prefers company and can get a bit anxious when left alone, sometimes expressing her frustration by barking or chewing. Because of this, she will thrive best in a home where someone is around most of the time, and where her new family can continue working on her crate training to help her feel safe and secure.
