Winnie and Teddy Bear came to us when a woman contacted us that she could no longer care for her 2 cats. She had to leave her apt in 4 hrs. She had exhausted all options. We had no foster for adults, but wanted to help her with resources. Long story short, sadly she has stage 4 cancer and her health, finances and living situation has become dire. So foster picked up the cats and they are now CTC family. Winnie Winslow was terrified. She hissed, scratched and bit her foster. This went on for 4 weeks. Finally, she calmed enough to handle and she went in for her spa day (she was not fixed ) Surprisingly to us all, fast forward 6 weeks from intake, Winnie is the most cuddly cat ever. She loves to curl up in your neck, by your side, along as she can touch you, she is good. Loves belly rubs. A sweet talker, omgoodness, Winnie is a chatterbox. Winnie loves other cats. Teddy Bear was frightened, too, but was friendly and loved pets. Even though they were bonded, we knew he was feeding off of Winnie's fear. After his 2 week quarantine with Winnie, he was able to come out with the other cats. Teddy is loving with humans, but he does not care for the other cats. He will need a home with Winnie or as a single cat.
