Boosh is a good Boosh. Boosh's finders found squeaky young Boosh in their residential yard. When it became clear that Boosh was not going to leave the yard, they posted on the Palomacy Help Group. A volunteer went to the address to retrieve Boosh and transport the next day to an avian vet for care for the fractured and cut right wing. Boosh will probably not be flighted, but the wing is healing and Boosh has found lots of comfort and happiness from living with another juvenile rescue pigeon while they both heal and gain strength. Boosh was dealing with pain at the time of rescue and seemed a bit shut down and fearful, but with medical care and pigeon-companionship, Boosh is becoming increasingly explorative, curious, and comfortable. While we believe we will learn more about Boosh's personality over time, Boosh seeems to have a gentle, observant, thoughtful curiosity, and to deeply appreciate comfortable sit-spots and simple, safe-feeling foraging and exploring activities. Although we are still getting to know Boosh, we believe a home that can accomodate an unflighted (or poorly flighted) pigeon with patience, kindness, and some gentle, friendly, confident pigeon companionship will best encourage gentle Boosh to flourish. Please apply to adopt http://www.pigeonrescue.org/birds/apply-to-foster-or-adopt/
