Most dogs don't settle into a new home on day one. Some need 1 day, some need 3 days and some need longer. This little guy Kai, is the type who needs a bit longer to figure out that he's safe. New places and new people can be a little overwhelming at first, but once his walls come down, he bonds hard. The kind of bond that has him following you from room to room, curling up beside you, and looking at you like you're his whole world. At just 2 years old and 17 pounds, he's an incredibly easy dog to live with. Half the time you don't even realize he's there. He's quiet, content, and doesn't demand much beyond a little patience and love. He's potty trained, can be left home alone without issue, and isn't a dog who barks for no reason. He also seems to prefer dogs that can simply coexist peacefully rather than dogs that are constantly in his face wanting to play. He's happy sharing his space and doing his own thing.
