Why hello there, I'm Mazzy ! I'm a 10 year old, female Hermann's tortoise ready to find my forever home. I'm an easygoing, friendly gal who loves to eat greens and explore the outdoors. You'll find that I'm quite confident and rarely hide into my shell! I'd do great as a first time tortoise or with an experienced owner. My ideal home would have a secure, predator-proof outdoor enclosure at least 4x8 feet so I can dig to my heart's content. If you'd like to get to know more about me, bring a picture of your prepared outdoor enclosure to our Burlingame location and ask for Mazzy ID# A0986908 Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available . It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
