Meet Moe! This sweet boy was found as a stray in a rural area. He is only 3 months old and clearly had a tough time. He is doing well in his foster home now. We're not sure what his breed mix is. He is little! He looks like a cattle dog but must be mixed with a smaller breed, like a Dachshund size. He will not get very big as an adult - maybe around 15-20 lbs. Moe is a little on the timid side. He needs a bit of patience and is still learning that the world is safe. He’s mostly a typical puppy, lots of energy and very playful, then crashes. He’s making great progress on house training. He’s not going in his pen, whines when he needs to go out. He’s also making good progress on leash training. Very food motivated! He’s in the puppy chewing phase so needs appropriate toys and lots of supervision when out of his pen. He’s currently sleeping about 6 hours through the night before whining to go out, then can sleep a couple more hours before breakfast and going out again. He loves attention and can be a little mouthy as puppies are but is easily redirected with toys or treats. Moe is worried about meeting new people and needs a moment to ensure you are 'good people'. Unknown noises and loud sounds can scare him a bit. He's just a baby so with a little work this will improve. Moe is vaccinated, microchipped and will be neutered around 8-12 months of age at our cost. His adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.
