Marble and Oscar are a beautiful bonded pair who remind us why socialization is worth the time. When they first came into our care, both were unsure of people and slow to trust. Over time, with patience, predictability, and the freedom to move at their own pace, they began showing us they want to trust humans and just need time. Marble, our striking dilute calico, has approaches for pets and is beginning to explore closeness on her own terms. Oscar, her cream-orange companion, has found his confidence too... coming over for attention, leaning into head scritches, and sharing one of the happiest purrs around. Neither cat needed to change. They simply needed time to feel safe. Both are beautiful inside and out. Watching them grow has been incredibly rewarding, and now they’re ready to continue that journey with a family of their own. Marble does have a juvenile dental condition that is improving with ongoing care. We’re happy to discuss details with interested adopters. They’ve done the hard part. Now they just need someone to say yes.
