Valentine is a 1-year-old gentle soul looking for his forever home. This sweet, shy boy is still learning that people can be trusted, and every day he takes small but meaningful steps toward confidence. While he is not yet comfortable being touched, Valentine has started seeking out the company of his foster family and enjoys spending time nearby. His quiet progress has been heartwarming to watch, and it is clear that beneath his cautious exterior is a cat with so much love to give. Valentine's favorite activity is playtime. Bring out a wand toy and you'll see his playful side come alive as he chases, catches, and pounces with enthusiasm. He has a moderate energy level and may become even more playful as he continues to feel safe and secure in his surroundings. He is also a big fan of Churu treats and will happily accept them from your hand, helping him build positive connections with people. Currently living in a foster home with another cat and older teenage children, Valentine has shown that he can warm up to others at his own pace. He would likely do well as an only cat or with a friendly, easygoing feline companion. While he has not yet met dogs, he would probably need a calm, patient introduction to any canine friends. Valentine's ideal home is a quiet, understanding one where his family will celebrate the little victories and allow him to progress on his own timeline. He needs adopters who can see the incredible potential in him and are willing to give him the patience, consistency, and love he deserves. All ages and breeds are best estimates. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
