Finnick is a sweet, gentle boy looking for a calm and loving home where he can truly relax and thrive. He’s an indoor-only kitty who is both polite and playful, with a soft spot for chin and head scratches. He’s comfortable being held for regular nail trims and loves lounging on wall-mounted cat shelves. Finnick has done well with dogs and has even enjoyed playful companionship with ours—he tolerates puppy antics and happily accepts grooming from his canine friend. He also does well with kids, though we think older or calmer children would be the best fit, as sudden excitement can make him shy. Finnick would do best in a quieter home. While he has tried hard to befriend our older cats, they haven’t accepted him, and the dynamic has become stressful for everyone. Between tension with the cats, a playful dog who often chases him, and a busy household full of kids and visitors, Finnick has become increasingly withdrawn and spends much of his time hiding away. We know in the right environment—a peaceful home with patient, understanding people—Finnick will blossom into the affectionate, playful companion he’s meant to be. He deserves a space where he can feel safe, loved, and free to “cat” at his own pace. Finnick lives in Milwaukie with his family and is indoor only. His rehoming fee is $100 and he is neutered and medically UTD.
