Hi there, I'm Milo! I'm a 6-month-old, 11-lb Chihuahua. I might be small, but I have a whole lot of love to give. Right now, the world feels a little big and scary to me, so I'm looking for a patient, gentle family to help me grow into the confident pup I know I can be. Once I know I'm safe, my sweet, playful side completely shines! My perfect home will have a doggy sibling for me to hang out with - I LOVE other dogs! Seeing a furry friend gets me so excited and brings out my playful side. Having a kind, confident dog in the home will help show me the ropes and build my bravery. As for the humans in the house, I have a strong preference for women and children. Currently, men make me very scared. But as for kids - yes, please! My current foster home has three young kids, and they are my best friends. I play with them all day, get super excited when they walk into the room, and shower them with kisses. I'm doing great at going potty outside! As long as you give me plenty of frequent opportunities to go out, I've got it down. Speaking of outside, I'd really like a secure yard to hang out in, as I'm a certified sun worshipper. That secure yard is important, because I am not so great on a leash. Because I'm so timid, the outside world beyond my yard is a bit too overwhelming, so I haven't wanted to go for walks yet. We can work on leash training slowly at my own pace. Please don't let my shyness deter you, my foster mom says I will "definitely come around with time" and thinks I'm a treasure!
