(DOB 1/16/2026) Due to Hannah’s young age, she has not been spayed yet. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within a 1-hour drive time of Wake Forest NC). Hannah is a sweet, affectionate hound mix with a heart full of love and a personality that will keep you smiling. This friendly girl adores people and is always happy to spend time with her favorite humans, whether that means joining you for an adventure or simply soaking up attention at home. Hannah gets along well with other dogs, though she likes to be in charge of the fun from time to time. Her play style can be a little bossy, so she would do best either as an only dog or with another confident, friendly dog who won't be intimidated by her enthusiasm. She enjoys canine companionship but doesn't necessarily need another dog to be happy. Like many young hounds, Hannah has energy to spare and would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can run, sniff, and explore. She could also do wonderfully with an active family committed to giving her plenty of exercise, walks, hikes, and opportunities to burn off her puppy energy. Hannah walks reasonably well on leash and is eager to learn, but she'd love a forever family willing to help her continue improving her leash manners. She's not afraid to speak up when she wants attention, so apartment living probably isn't the best fit for this (occasionally) vocal girl. When it comes to house training, Hannah has already mastered using a doggie door and does an excellent job taking herself outside. In homes without a doggie door, she does well when kept on a consistent potty schedule. If you're looking for a loving, playful companion who will fill your days with affection, entertainment, and plenty of hound charm, Hannah may be the perfect addition to your family. She's ready to find a home where she can be loved, exercised, and included in all of life's adventures. As part of Hannah’s $325 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.
