Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate . Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check. Other : Intact Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption: 8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption. 12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery. ** Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations. **Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice. This outgoing little girl is brave, confident, and always ready to investigate something new. She has a mischievous streak and will happily turn just about anything into an adventure. Arn would be a fun companion for a family ready to keep up with her playful puppy antics. Because she is so tiny (about 2 lbs at 6 weeks), she would be happiest in a home without young children and with other pets who know how to be gentle with very small friends.
