Meet Maria! She's a four-year-old, 80 lb. Rottweiler who has had a bit of a rough road. In March she was found stray and injured, likely from being struck by a vehicle. She was taken to a city shelter and was very fortunate to receive surgery to repair her broken femur. Maria is now recovered and is living the good life in foster care while she waits for her forever family. Through it all, Maria has remained calm, affectionate, and quietly strong. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality truly shines. Maria is spayed, microchipped, current on rabies, up to date on boosters, and heartworm negative. We think she would do best in a calm home without small children. Stay tuned for more info as we get to know Maria! Please apply online if you're interested in meeting her. Her adoption fee is $275. Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted.
