SPICE GIRLS THEMED KITTEN: Approx. 2 months old / Approx. 1.75 lbs. & growing Hi, my name is Posh! My three siblings and I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control. In pairs, we went to great foster homes and have been very busy learning to trust people. Love and great care in our foster homes are doing the trick, and we are opening up more every day. Our foster families continue working diligently with all of us to help us grow our confidence and learn that people are – indeed – our friends. It is now time to find loving homes with patient family members to help continue to blossom. Plan to meet me soon! • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I get along great with Baby, the sibling that shares my foster home, so I may enjoy another kitty in my new home. In fact, a kitty friend would likely help me continue to come out of my shell. If you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a kitten friend, let’s meet! / Dogs unknown / A 19- and 21-year-old live in my foster home, and I interact with them daily. Older children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten. Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY INFORMATION: Like my siblings, I'm a work-in-progress with a heart of gold! When I first arrived at my foster home, I was what they call "super spicy" — lots of hissing, spitting, swatting, and trying my best to convince everyone to stay away because I was absolutely terrified. The truth is, I'm a sweet kitten underneath all that fear, and every day I'm learning that people can be safe. I'm not a lap kitty yet, and I need someone patient who understands that trust takes time. If you let me move at my own pace and help me feel safe, I'll keep showing you more of the sweet kitten I'm becoming. A quieter home would be perfect for me while I continue building my confidence. • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I've started enjoying playtime with my sibling, and I'm getting braver about playing with toys when people are around, too. My favorite place in the world is my window perch, where I can spend hours watching birds and all the exciting things happening outside. My foster family has been able to pet me, and I've even let out a few purrs, which is a pretty big deal! / I would not want to be rushed to be social in my new home, as this would likely cause me to regress in my confidence building. Otherwise, I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL: I’ve started my kitten shots, but you must finish those for me as I grow. I am microchipped. I'm not yet spayed due to my small size, but it is required and will be done as soon as I grow a little more. Mostly Mutts will cover that cost with one of their approved vets in the North Metro Atlanta area, so local adoptions only. I’m looking for a loving and patient family in a quieter home! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
