Peaches and Timida are a remarkable, bonded mother-daughter duo searching for a forever home where they can continue their journey together. While they are very different in personality, they complement each other perfectly and bring endless love, entertainment, and companionship wherever they go. Peaches is a loving, confident, and incredibly gentle one-and-a-half-year-old mama cat with stunning emerald green eyes and a coat full of hidden surprises. At first glance, she appears mostly gray, but in the sunlight her subtle tortie coloring, orange speckles, white markings, and striped tail with its white tip become beautifully visible. Peaches is the definition of a sweetheart. She adores affection and would happily accept pets for hours. Her loud, soothing purrs are constant, accompanied by an adorable little wheeze that has remained unchanged since she was rescued. She loves belly rubs, chin scratches, and gentle pats near the base of her tail. Wherever you are, Peaches wants to be nearby, whether she's following you from room to room or lounging close by while you relax. Although she has a calm and easygoing nature, Peaches still has a playful kitten spirit waiting to shine. Daily zoomies and wrestling matches with Timida are a regular source of joy, and when given one-on-one attention, her playful side truly comes alive. After spending much of her young life surviving outdoors and raising kittens, she deserves a home that encourages her to rediscover the carefree kitten hidden inside. Peaches is highly food motivated, enjoys wet food and treats, and isn't shy about reminding you when breakfast is overdue. She is welcoming toward new people and settles into social situations with impressive confidence. Peaches is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean she can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. With her bright yellow eyes, striking two-toned nose, and beautifully patterned calico-tortie coat, she is every bit as stunning as she is entertaining. True to her name, Timida can be cautious when meeting new people or entering new environments, but beneath that initial hesitation is an affectionate, social, and deeply loving kitten. Once she trusts you, her personality blossoms. She greets familiar people confidently, purrs proudly, and eagerly seeks attention. She appreciates being allowed to approach first and enjoys gentle pets, belly rubs, and the continued practice of being held. Timida is exceptionally smart and endlessly playful. Her favorite game is fetch, particularly with soft hair ties, and she can play for hours without losing enthusiasm. She loves exploring, solving little challenges, diving into blanket forts, and inventing games all on her own. She is also quite vocal and will happily tell you when it's time to play. While Timida is growing into her independence, she still looks to her mother for confidence and comfort. New situations are much easier when Peaches is by her side, and watching their relationship develop is incredibly rewarding. Timida clearly adores her mama and hopes to be her best friend forever. Together, Peaches and Timida create a wonderful balance. Peaches brings calm affection and steady companionship, while Timida fills the home with curiosity, playfulness, and laughter.
