Rufus is a boy with a heart as solid as his name. Like his companions Bella and Sweet Pea, Rufus recently found himself at the shelter after his beloved owner had to move into a nursing home. Being a cat who thrived in a quiet, predictable environment, Rufus is understandably a bit shy and bewildered by the bustling shelter. He is a dignified, sensitive soul who is simply waiting for a calm hand to show him that his next chapter can be just as sweet as his last. All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, are treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention and dewormed #adoptdontshop
