About

Meet Nathalia — A Young Husky Ready for a New Beginning This beautiful Siberian Husky came to us as a stray after appearing on her finder's property and showing no interest in leaving. She quickly made friends with their 13-year-old daughter, and the family brought her to the shelter in hopes of reuniting her with her family. After completing her required stray hold — with no ID, no microchip, and a full feature on our website — no one came to claim her. Now this stunning young girl is ready to begin her next chapter. So far with us, she has been easy to leash and walk out of the kennel. At just 1 year old, she is still young, curious, and at times unsure, but she is very interested in exploring and learning. She did well for her medical exam, even rolling over for belly rubs at the end.Outside, she was bouncy and playful. She met multiple dogs on leash and seemed interested in them, but was hesitant to let them get too close and would bounce away. She was also introduced to several dogs in the play yard and did great. We do not know how she does with cats and have no way to test for this. If you are familiar with this loyal, social, intelligent breed and can provide the commitment and care she deserves, please come meet her in person. We are a first-come, first-served, in-person adoption center. All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Adopters should establish veterinary care after adoption to maintain their pet's long-term health. Meet-and-greets with resident dogs and children are recommended to ensure a great fit. Please bring a collar and leash, or you may purchase a combo from us for $15 to safely transport your new family member home.
