Lucas is a sweet, easygoing dog who absolutely loves to explore. He already has great manners and happily knows how to `sit` on command! Lucas has so much love to give, but he is currently looking for a home who can help him get the veterinary care he needs, as his medical needs requires more than our shelter can provide. Specifically, Lucas has a firm subcutaneous (under the skin) mass on his left hip that requires further diagnostic workup, as well as an old, healed fracture of his right tibia and fibula that has caused some leg deformity. He also has lenticular sclerosis in both eyes—a normal, age-related cloudiness that typically doesn't majorly impact vision—and he will need a standard dental procedure for scaling, polishing, and potential extractions. If you have the heart and the resources to help this wonderful explorer thrive, Lucas is waiting to meet you! This animal is at risk for euthanasia.
