Sprocket is with our partner rescue in LA and can hitch a ride to NJ if we find a foster or adopter for him. Meet Sprocket… the 18-pound bundle of joy you didn’t know your life was missing. This handsome beagle mix is rocking a stunning tri-color coat and a personality that’s somehow even more irresistible. At around 2 years old, Sprocket is fully grown, perfectly sized, and fully committed to being everyone’s best friend. Seriously—this boy has never met a stranger. Humans? Loves them. Dogs? Instant buddies. Cats? Yep, he’s cool with them too. He’s basically the social director of the dog world. Sprocket is playful, happy, and always up for whatever adventure you’ve got in mind—whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, a romp in the yard, or just hanging out and soaking up attention. He’s got that classic beagle charm with an easygoing, affectionate twist that makes him an absolute joy to have around. If you’re looking for a friendly, fun-loving companion who fits just about any home, Sprocket might just be your perfect match. He’s the kind of dog who turns ordinary days into better ones—no extra effort required. Sprocket is fixed, up to date on vaccines. He tested light positive for heartworm and has begun treatment. We are looking for a foster to complete his treatment here in NJ with 2 visits to Barnegat Animal Clinic in July. His adoption donation will be $500. Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animals have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
