He quickly adapted to a new feeding schedule and used the litter box from day one. He loves pets under the chin and rolls on his back often for tummy rubs. He is a pretty confident, laid back guy who enjoys human company. O'Malley has greeted new people with curiosity and affection. He does have his shy moments, and even then, has never shown a bit of aggression. He appears to be interested in engaging with the resident pets but a few of the cats haven't warmed to him yet. O'Malley was given the run of the house for the first time a few days ago. This step was a bit too big and he quickly found a bed to settle under, so now he is being exposed to one new space at a time. O'Malley becomes fairly vocal during the night, which is the only time that he becomes restless and unsettled, which is to be expected as he has newly transited into our home . He is receptive to reassurance and likes to rest his head on his foster mom's shoulder when he does become a bit stressed. Overall, O'Malley is progressing nicely and will be a wonderful companion for someone in the future.
