She loves playing with toys and has the typical Dachshund appetite, so her weight should be monitored. Muffin walks nicely on a leash and is potty-pad trained—perfect for those cold desert mornings that, as every Dachshund knows, are simply unbearable! When meeting new people, Muffin can be a little shy and may bark at first, but she warms up quickly once she feels comfortable and secure. She was raised around children and would likely do well in a home with older, respectful kids. Muffin is an alpha female, so she would do best as the only female dog in the home. She gets along well with submissive male dogs and has never had any health issues. She is a sweet, fun-loving girl who enjoys being close to her people. Her ideal home would be one where she can receive plenty of one-on-one attention. While she can live with the right male dog, Muffin would truly love being the center of someone's world. She dreams of long naps on the couch and spending as much time as possible right by her family's side. Muffin‘s adoption fee: $600 We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found. Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing.
