Sweets are not only consumed by the spoonful. This precious pup, Hamlyn, delivers them every moment of the day. Just show him safety, and his trust delivers the most centered, active, game, snuggle boy you have imagined. Hamlyn, once petrified in his unknown surroundings, has taken in the security of a soothing environment to be the Best Boy he was meant to be. “Hammy” is a vigorous runner and explorer, recently taking in just over a mile, twice a day! Though small and enticing, his enthusiasm for not always being held is apparent from Step 1. Not to be mistaken for a cute little sofa sitter, this guy is a goer extraordinaire. He loves other, well-balanced, dogs, as evidenced by the upward reach and nose boops he places on my calming 55 pound retriever. He plays with other nice dogs as though they are equals in every way right from the start. At 4 years old, he came to me fully house trained, and as I take him outdoors to his favorite pine straw pile frequently, he has not had one accident in the house a single time! Having not engaged with toys before, he is now occasionally bouncing along with them and realizing squeaks are not scary. Hamlyn takes to a routine beautifully. When shown, he will eat well, potty, hike, play with a buddy, and settle in for a nap, he “gets it” and repeats without protest thereafter. Hamlyn is glad to let you know when he doesn’t feel safe or needs a change, but he is quick to settle and quiet down when soothed. Having recently been neutered and as a healthy little pooch, he is on go to meet you! He loves the touch of a nurturing hand, but no more than you will love tickling his tiny belly and rubbing his soft ears; he is simply a lovebug. A lifetime with Hamlyn will easily deliver the dreamy, scrumptious treat, devoid the calories, you never thought possible. This Pup Requires : Daily walks. Consistent potty breaks.
