Darla is a 3 year old female German Shepherd mix, and is all set to win your heart the moment you meet her! This beautiful girl is a cuddler, a total lovebug, and an absolute sweetheart. Her favorite place to be is right beside her people, soaking up affection and gazing up at them with complete adoration. One look into those loving eyes, and you'll understand why everyone falls for Darla so quickly! Darla has a gentle, affectionate nature that makes her a joy to spend time with. Whether you're out for a walk or relaxing together, she's happiest when she is sharing life's moments with someone she loves. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys exploring the world at your side. She has also shown friendly manners around other animals. Darla greets other dogs with happy tail wags and has even calmly ignored a cat while passing by, showing that she's more interested in making friends than causing a fuss. Darla came to the shelter heartworm positive, but don't let that discourage you from meeting this wonderful girl … the shelter will be taking care of her heartworm treatment. What Darla needs most is a family who will see beyond her temporary medical condition and recognize the incredible companion waiting underneath. She has so much love to give and is ready to devote her whole heart to someone special. If you're looking for a loyal best friend, a cuddle buddy, and a dog who will look at you like you're the most important person in the world, Darla is your perfect match. Come meet this sweet girl and let her show you just how much love one dog can hold.
