Fall in Love with Felix! Meet Felix, a ten-week-old Australian Shephard mix who is an adorable, friendly puppy who is ready to find his permanent home! As photographic as he is, this 12-lb ball of fluff is even cuter in person. Felix brings his full puppy energy to games of tug-of-war and catch. After a bout of playtime, he settles in, happy to gnaw on a toy and rest at your feet while you work or catch-up on Netflix. Felix receives flying colors on all aspects of puppy training. He is making great progress on house training so long as you take him outside regularly and watch for his cues. In his foster home, he is learning the command “sit” to receive his treats. And while it may take him a few minutes to settle down in the evening, he sleeps in his crate overnight. As an active and smart pup, he will do best in a home prepared to not only see him through his puppy season, but also prepared long-term to provide him with mental stimulation and regular physical activity. While he has not been exposed to young children, we believe he would love to have little people to play with but they would have to understand that his puppy enthusiasm sometimes translates into wanting to use hands and fingers as chew toys. Felix gets along well with dogs and cats and does understand to retain a respectful distance with his older foster brother. Felix would love to have a younger canine sibling to join him in play and rest. Finally, he’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines—healthy, happy, and ready to go his forever home!
