About

Patches is a sweet cat with beautiful markings. She loves to be petted and lay in your bed in the sunshine all day long. She’s been exposed to other cats and dogs, and tolerates them, but would love to be the only pet in the home. She is good with children if they are gentle with her. Best to be cat savvy older children, not toddlers. She especially loves her 12 year old human girl. Mom of 5 pets is suddenly allergic so she must find a furever family this time around as the first one didn't work out. Patches just came back to us and she is supper upset right now and doesn't understand why she has found herself back at our office after 4+ years. To meet Patches, apply to adopt and a meet and greet can be arranged to see if she might be a good fit. All cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, vaccinated, given dewormer and flea preventative and provided care for any known illnesses during their time with us. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
