Meet Apple! Apple is a beautiful 2-year-old American Foxhound/Beagle mix weighing 40 pounds—the perfect medium-sized companion! With her gentle personality and sweet nature, she's ready to find a family to call her own. Apple is both house trained and crate trained , making the transition into her new home much easier. She enjoys spending time with other dogs and loves having canine friends to play with, so she'd be happy in a home with another playful pup or as your one-and-only with opportunities for socialization. Like many hounds, Apple is curious and enjoys exploring the world around her. She's currently learning good leash manners and can get excited on walks, so she does pull at times. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she's sure to continue making great progress. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with soulful hound eyes and a heart full of love, Apple may be the perfect match. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
