Howard is a 2-year-old scruffy Terrier mix with long legs, a lanky build, and a personality as big as his heart. Weighing in at 57 pounds, this handsome boy is all charm, goofiness, and affection. His foster family describes him as a lovable, awkward gentleman who is happiest when he's spending time with his people or playing with his dog friends. Howard loves other dogs and enjoys romping around the yard, playing chase, and making new canine companions. When playtime is over, he's more than happy to soak up attention and lean in for pets and cuddles. His sweet nature and easygoing personality make him a joy to have around. This smart boy is both crate trained and house trained, making the transition into his forever home much easier. He's also learning to walk nicely on a leash and continues to improve every day. With a little patience and consistency, Howard will make a wonderful walking companion. Howard's combination of goofy charm, loving personality, and playful spirit makes him a truly special dog. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
