About

Fig is a 5 month old lab mix with an affectionate and sweet disposition. She loves being a couch potato but also loves running and playing chase in the yard with her foster brothers. She sleeps through the night in her crate and is so comfortable with it that she sometimes likes to nap in the open crate during the day. She was initially a little timid of people and new experiences, but after settling in she has gained a lot of confidence. She loves to cuddle on the couch and in bed. Fig plays well with other dogs and is respectful but curious with cats. She is food motivated and has been working on come when called, sit, and walking nicely on a leash. She is house broken but she does need coaxing and reminding to go outside. She loves playing with toys, chews, and stuffed kongs. Nor do we work on a "first come first served" basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog. As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region.
