Meet Cherokee – A Beautiful Husky Mix Looking for Her Forever Adventure! Cherokee is a gorgeous 5-month-old Husky mix who weighs about 26 pounds and is ready to find the family she was always meant to have.Like so many puppies across the South, Cherokee’s story began with a parking lot giveaway. One kind-hearted person couldn’t bear to leave her behind and brought her home, hoping to give her a better life. Unfortunately, circumstances changed, and it became clear that Cherokee needed a home better suited to raising an active, growing puppy. Now, Cherokee has a second chance. This sweet girl is everything you love about a young Husky mix—smart, curious, playful, and eager to explore the world around her. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and forms strong bonds with those who show her kindness. Cherokee loves other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion to play with, though she would also thrive as the center of attention in an active home. She is housebroken, currently crate training, and walks nicely on a leash. Most importantly, she is ready to begin making memories with a family who will include her in their adventures. A securely fenced yard would be ideal for Cherokee, giving her a safe place to run and burn off puppy energy. Daily walks, outings, and continued training will help her grow into the amazing companion we know she can be. Cherokee has so much life, love, and loyalty to give.
