Meet Peanut! Peanut is about one year old and somehow manages to be both an easygoing companion and a typical young dog at the same time. He has a playful, silly side and still enjoys all the fun that comes with being young, but what stands out most about Peanut is how naturally he settles into everyday life. While the world bustles around him, Peanut is usually content to find a cozy spot nearby and simply be part of whatever his people are doing. With his expressive face and permanently thoughtful-looking forehead wrinkles, Peanut often looks like he's deep in contemplation. Most of the time, though, he's really just keeping track of where his humans are and figuring out how to be as close to them as possible. Peanut currently lives with other dogs and a toddler. He is potty trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and walks nicely on leash. He enjoys the company of other dogs, but people are his true passion. Whether it's adults, kids, or visitors, Peanut is happiest when he's included. One of Peanut's most endearing qualities is his steady temperament. Even when other dogs are busy barking at the excitement of the day, Peanut is more likely to sit back, observe, and wait for a chance to collect a few pets. Whether he's joining you for a walk, supervising household activities, or curling up nearby for a nap, Peanut brings a calm, affectionate presence wherever he goes. If you're looking for a sweet young dog with a gentle nature, a playful streak, and a heart that belongs with his people, Peanut may be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application at www.sadiesrescue.org Please keep in mind there are many factors to consider when choosing the right match for a dog, so an application cannot guarantee adoption. Nor do we work on a "first come first served" basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog. As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting as placing each foster dog in the best home takes time and effort by our volunteers.
Adoption fee: $350
