Meet Clifford – Our Not-So-Big, Totally Wonderful “Big Red Dog” ❤️ While he may not grow to the size of a house like the famous storybook pup, our Clifford still has a larger-than-life heart. This sweet older gentleman came all the way from Texas and has proven just how strong and loving he is after successfully completing heartworm treatment. Now that his tough days are behind him, Clifford is ready for his next chapter—one filled with love, comfort, and a family to call his own. Much like his famous namesake, Clifford is gentle, kind, and great with everyone he meets. He absolutely shines around kids and other dogs , making him a wonderful addition to a family looking for a calm, easygoing companion. His friendly nature and patient personality make him the kind of dog you can trust to fit right in. Clifford prefers the simple things in life—easy walks, lounging in the grass, and being near his people. He’s not looking for chaos or constant activity—just a warm home, soft place to rest, and plenty of love. As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region.
