Meet Gibby — Small Pup, Big Heart Gibby comes to us as an owner surrender, after it became too much for his former family to manage the care he — and the many other dogs he lived with — deserved. Gibby comes from the same home as Rocket, and like him and the others, he's now on his journey to find the forever family he's always deserved. This adorable tricolor beagle/hound mix is such a cutie. Weighing only 21.70 pounds, this little guy makes a big impact. While he may be nervous in the shelter setting, he is working so hard to overcome it. Like his former kennelmates, he isn't the biggest fan of a leash — it's unclear if they ever experienced leashes before coming to us — but he is truly trying his best to learn. Sweet Gibby is looking for a family who will give him the consistency, patience, and lifelong love he deserves. He previously lived with other dogs and did great. We always recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs and children to ensure a perfect fit. We do not have information on how he does with cats and cannot test for this. Although he's still learning to love the leash, please bring a collar and leash — or you can purchase a combo from us for just $15 to take your new family member home safely.
