Backyard chickens can make fun pets, both on and off the farm! Chickens are entertaining pets that can thrive with a companion or two even in a small backyard. Chickens live in a flock and require at least one companion so they don't get lonely. They need a predator proof coop to sleep in, and a secure area to roam during the day.
