Please contact info@petadoptionservices.org for more information about this pet. Sheba is approximately 3 yrs old and came to us with her puppies when she was found running stray and unclaimed. Sheba is current on vaccinations and microchipped. She will be spayed prior to adoption. Sheba has tested negative for heartworms and is current on heartworm preventative and flea preventative. Sheba is good with dogs of all sized, although she would especially prefer that large dogs be laid back and well-mannered. Sheba has approached gentle children as young as 3 and 5 yrs old at her vet visit to request that they pet her. While she is a tad shy (not timid) she would be a great addition to most households with a fenced yard where she could go out to play with her family. Sheba has not had any accidents in her foster home or crate so far. If you are interested in this sweet girl, please complete a Dog Adoption Application Our adoptions include a foster period of 4-6 weeks so that you can be sure that this pet is a good fit without any pressure, and we are available to answer any behavior or training questions during that time (and beyond, if you wish). ** Local adoptions (within Greater New Orleans area and surrounding parishes). We do not ship animals, as a part of our adoption process is for the potential adopter(s) to meet the dog to assess if he/she is a match for the family.
