Meet Rooba, a cute short-haired orange tabby male about 10 weeks old (DOB about 4/20/26). This little survivor has quite a story. Taken from his mom far too early at just 4 weeks old, he missed out on learning many of the social skills and manners that mother cats usually teach. He also endured abuse during his early weeks, but despite that rough start, he's made an incredible recovery and is full of life. He was surrendered to an area emergency hospital at 4 weeks old age. He was emaciated, covered in fleas, and damage to his rear legs (maybe from being sat or rolled on). Because he was separated from his mom so young, Roomba can be a bit rough-and-tumble during play and doesn't always understand typical kitten boundaries. He approaches life with absolute confidence, seemingly unaware that he weighs only a few pounds. Fear isn't in his vocabulary, and he'll happily charge into any adventure, toy, or wrestling match he can find. This spirited little guy will thrive with a patient adopter who understands that his lack of kitten manners isn't stubbornness—it's simply something he never had the chance to learn. With guidance, enrichment, and plenty of appropriate play, he's sure to keep everyone entertained with his bold personality, endless energy, and resilient spirit. Roomba will need a home that isn't loud, without lots of commotion, and no small children. He would do best with an older furry friend to help with learning boundaries and that will let him know when playtime is over. If you're looking for a kitten with a big heart, an even bigger personality, and a remarkable comeback story, Roomba might be your perfect match. Roomba is negative for feline leukemia and aids, had his first distemper vaccine, been wormed, treated for fleas, and been vet checked and neutered. Additional vaccines included in the adoption fee. Preference will be given to local adopters who have a young playmate/companion for the kitten or are willing to adopt a pair. We do not adopt kittens to homes where they will be a solo pet.
