Coming Soon: This shy little sweetheart is Pickle. She was an unclaimed stray in a local shelter and is guessed to be a basset hound mix, around 3 years old. Pickle is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. However, she currently has a respiratory infection, so she will not be available for adoption until she has recovered. Pickle has a sweet dispostion, but was completely overwhelmed and frightened in the shelter. In her foster home, she is showing more of her loving and happy personality. Although initially standoffish with the other dogs, it took only about 30 minutes for her to get comfortable with them and start playing. She ignores the family cat. So far, Pickle seems to prefer women to men. It is unknown, at this time, how she reacts to children. She's a good car traveler. Pickle has been in her foster home for only a short time (since June 7). We will update, as she continues to settle in and her foster home gets to know her better.
