Hi! My name is Poppy. I am a domestic short-haired tortoiseshell kitten approx. 9 weeks old, and I currently weigh just 1.3lbs of pure kitten cuteness. I was discovered hanging around the Snap Insurance Services office off Ranch Trail in Rockwall on 05/15/26. Apparently, everyone there agreed that while I am very adorable, I am absolutely terrible at selling insurance policies. Something about me trying to replace deductibles with snackies and mandatory cuddle breaks. After careful consideration, I decided to leave the insurance game to the Gecko and the Emu and accepted a complimentary chauffeur service from Animal Control to the shelter, where I'm now safe, spoiled, and enjoying a few days of rest and relaxation while I search for my forever home. My adoption fee is $75 and includes my spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, first set of kitten boosters, and dewormer. My spay is scheduled for Wednesday, 07/01/26. This date is non-negotiable and is required in accordance with Texas state law. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
