Looking for a little magic in your life? Meet Merlin, a handsome Shepherd/Husky mix with movie-star looks and one mesmerizing ice-blue eye that seems to cast a love spell on everyone he meets. Merlin has mastered some of the most impressive spells around: The potty training charm– Only a couple accidents here! Merlin already knows the rules of the castle. The friendly familiar spell-He loves meeting new people and is wonderful with kids. The canine companion spell-Other dogs? Merlin says, "The more the merrier!" Leash walking wizardry-He walks politely on a leash without summoning chaos or dragging his human into another dimension. Merlin's magical components will be magnified if he lives in the perfect realm. His castle should probably include: Another mid- to large size canine companion to play with, or possibly doggy daycare for interactions with like-minded sorcerers. Room to run in a contained environment (moat or castle walls will do) or a family that enjoys expeditions (walks) Freedom from small critters. Merlin protects his castle from all the little creatures that enter his grounds- squirrels, chipmunks, birds, cats All that's missing from Merlin's fairy tale is a forever family to call his own. Nor do we work on a "first come first served" basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog. As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region.
