Henrietta aka Henny is about as lucky and unlucky as you can get. Unlucky in terms as she was probably hit by a car and doesn't look like her family was looking for her or her sister Maggie Lu. Lucky as she as found by the most amazing family who got her safetly off the streets and got her into Pei People's hands to get her the car she needed. Henny was found with a broken bone in her right hind leg..for you medical people it was her tibia and fibula. It was repaired by a local orthopedic surgeon using a plate, screws and wire. Everyone who has looked at the post op films is thrilled with the repair. Henny is doing amazing. She was weight bearing on the leg by day 2 post op. She will be spayed and have entropion surgery in approximately 6 weeks once her leg is sufficiently healed. In the meantime we are doing our best to keep this girl in line! No running, jumping or playing! She is great with other dogs. Starts giving kisses almost immediately upon meeting people. She isn't a huge fan of the crate but is tolerating it.
